Perfect Tea Party Treat! {Guest Post}

Hello dear readers! So excited to present All Things Vintage's first guest post. This yummy recipe for the perfect tea party cookie was created by my sweet friends Layla and Hagen, who blog over at Two Blessed Damsels. Be sure to check out their lovely blog! Also make sure to leave your comments below if you tried this delicious cookie! ~Sarah~

Hi there!
We are Layla & Hagen from Two Blessed Damsels, and we are going to share a recipe with you today! Before we begin, we would like to thank Sarah for inviting us as guests on her blog. Thank you, Sarah!

The recipe we are going to share with you today is one that just came to be. Layla started throwing things into a bowl, and this is what she got!
Our family has food allergies, so we make a lot of gluten-free treats. If you have wheat intolerance, you can eat these cookies with a peace-of-mind, and even if you don't, you are sure to love them! Although peanut butter and oats may not sound like tea-party ingredients, believe us when we say, they are. The peanut butter is not over-powering but adds to the buttery texture!

Enough chit-chat, let's get to baking!

1. Pre-heat oven to 350* and grease cookie sheets.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the first five ingredients.
3. Make a well, and mix in the last four. Add in chocolate chips or raisins (or both!), if desired.
4. Drop batter by tablespoons 2-3 inches apart on prepared sheets.
5. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes.
6. Let cookies cool on sheet for a minute or two, remove and let cool.
7. Pour yourself a cup of tea, or a glass of milk, and enjoy!

Whether you make them plain peanut butter, chocolate chip or raisin (or all three!), you will not be disappointed!
Our family loved these little treats so much that Hagen barely had time to snap these photos! Thank you once again to our sweet friend, Sarah! We hope that these cookies bring some sweetness to your life!

Love From,
Layla & Hagen
